In-game Profile & Equipment

The Profile tab allows the player to change, select avatars (NFT and non-NFT) and upgrade them by paying Fishcoins.

To get to the "Profile" tab, you should hover the mouse cursor over the avatar, which will open the navigation menu.

In the "Profile" tab the player can view his records, ID, profile level (max 80), style and change the avatar, with the possibility of linking an NFT avatar.

Once an NFT avatar is linked, the AVATAR button is no longer available because the NFT avatar cannot be customized. At the same moment, the LINK NFT AVATAR button changes to UNLINK NFT AVATAR, so you can return (and customize) the non-NFT avatar.

Example of old profile screen

The Customize tab contains character equipment with different rarity.

The non-NFT avatar is divided into layers that can be purchased for Fishcoins.

  • Frame

  • Background

  • Clothes and accessories

All of these layers have certain perks that increase the player's XP by a certain percentage.

For each character there are 9 equipment slots:

  • Fishing rod

  • Hook/Line

  • Coil Chair

  • Outerwear

  • Underwear

  • Shoes (available from level 30)

  • Head gear (available from level 50)

  • Gloves (available from level 70)

Each piece of equipment contains item of varying rarity that give certain perks.

The level grade is as follows:

  • Common (Max level - 10)

  • Uncommon (Max level - 20)

  • Rare (Max level - 40)

  • Epic (Max level - 60)

  • Legendary (Max level - 80)

On the same screen, the player sees an equipment progression. Each piece can be upgraded in two ways:

  1. Reach a certain profile level and buy upgrades with Fishcoins (each level adds small % of buff);

  2. Buy a certain item with Fishcoins (normal cosmetic items without effects/abilities);

For example, a player equipped a fishing rod level 1 with a base buff value of +1% XP boost. By paying n-amount of fishcoins, the player increased the level of the frame from level 1 to level 2 and received +0.5% to the initial value , receiving 1.5% XP boost in total.

Each piece of equipment is limited in its ability to upgrade. For example, a purchased profile frame has a Common rarity and can be pumped up to 10 levels inclusive, giving the player a maximum boost of 6% (not more).

If a player purchased an Uncommon frame, then its initial boost value will start at 3% and will have a maximum boost level of up to 20 inclusive.

The item can be dismanteled for Baitcoins, returning to a player all the Fishcoins spent on upgrading. The more a player has upgraded an item, the more expensive its cost will be for dismantling.
