STEP 1

In order to play Fortune Pike, players must go through several registration steps. The player must give itself a unique login that cannot be changed in the future, a password and a link to his blockchain wallet. It should be noted that for security reasons, players are prohibited from linking the same blockchain wallet to multiple gaming accounts.

STEP 2

If all registration data is correct, the player will be offered a default list of avatars to choose from.

Later on, players will be able to completely change their avatars in game through the profile settings, including equipment. However, it should be noted that the default avatar can be traded or sold later as it is an NFT.

The player has the right to purchase an NFT avatar (via OpenSea) and set it as the main avatar. It is important to note that an NFT avatar cannot be modified in any way due to its uniqueness.

NFT avatars allow players to receive certain perks (for the duration of the avatar's use) in addition to the basic perks, depending on the rarity of the avatar. The rarer an NFT avatar is, the better the perks are.

For example:

• Daily Baitcoins bonus;

• Fishcoins/XP bonus for the weight of the fish caught;

• Increased chance of catching highly rare fish;

• Etc.

An NFT avatar purchased in the store can be upgraded (if it has not reached the maximum level), the upgrade will be displayed on it visually, various elements will be added. After leveling up, the purchased avatar can be sold on the secondary market.

STEP 3

After choosing an avatar, the player is presented with a world map (which is completely available from the beginning), where there are different zones (reservoirs) to choose from, among which the "mother river" must be selected, to which the account will later be linked.

As long as the player has not chosen a river, he can return to the world map and look at the rivers of other regions. Once the players have made their choice, they cannot change their location until they reach a certain profile level and unlock the Travel ability.

The map visually displays “online” users who have selected the same region in each of the available regions, so that the player can understand in advance the workload and dispersion of users across bodies of water, thus he can clearly see where the collection is rarer at a given time. The number of slots per river is limited.
