Tournaments
Tournaments is a game mode, the winner of which will be determined by the highest score won during 15 rounds.
Each game lobby has a pre-set player limit (~50 persons). The prize pool is growing by 10 points for each player in the game lobby and distributed among the first 5 players in 3 categories within each game of the Tournament:
The heaviest fish (weight record);
The biggest fish amount;
The highest summary weight of all fish caught.
The prize pool within categories is distributed among the first 5 players as follows:
45% of prize pool for the first place;
25% of prize pool for the second place;
15% of prize pool for the third place;
10% of prize pool for the fourth place;
5% of prize pool for the fifth place.
In case of a tie, the prizes are split equally.
The tournaments have, among other things, general rules and criteria that must be met for participation:
Each tournament starts and ends within a certain period of time. Don't be late for registration and games to not miss the opportunity to win a valuable prize;
To participate in the tournament, you must have a Fortune Pike account and a referral code - these are mandatory qualification requirements for tournament participation.
In each tournament, players participate in 15 rounds, however, you can cast your fishing line only 12 times (once per round - use your opportunities wisely!). During the round, players must guess the maximum weight of fish that can be caught in the current round before time runs out. The counter allotted for the round is always determined randomly, but can be up to 100, so luck plays a big role. If you do not press the "Catch" button in time and do not catch any fish, then your result for the current round will be zero (casting opportunity will also be spent);
From here, the general prize pool formula looks like this:
PRIZE POOL = TOTAL PRIZE POOL / NUMBER OF NOMINATIONS
If the player has set his coefficient correctly, 3 characteristics (corresponding to the nominations) will be returned, after which the player's result will be included in the tournament ranking. Players are given 12 baits to participate in 15 rounds. At the end of the tournament all participants will see a ranking list with the TOP-5 players who have taken a leading position and their results in each category. The prize is distributed among the winners of each of the 3 categories, with 5 places in each. In case of a tie, the prizes are split equally. TOP-15 players will receive a limited series lootboxes. The TOP-10% players of the Tournament leaderboard will receive an additional special prize drop after event ends.
Good luck in the tournament!
